지금 주문진어시장은 주말마다 회먹고 생선사려는 사람들로 북적거린다.
옛날 주문진항구에는 오징어배 전등이 대낮처럼 밝았고 인근 밤바다에는
고깃배의 불빛이 또 다른 바다위의 도시처럼 장관을 이루었다.
고기잡이 배는 폭풍우 때만 빼고 언제나 바다로 나가야 한다. 맑든 날씨가
갑자기 바람이 불고 비가 내리면 어부의 가족들은 밤잠을 이루지 못한다.
한다. 그래서 포구의 여러집중에는 제삿날이 같은 집도 많다고 한다. 같은
배로 바다에 나갔다가 풍랑을 만났으니 사망날자도 같은 것이다.
注文津浦口 (주문진포구)
夕陽出港注津頭 [석양출항주진두] 저녁때 배 나가는 주문진 항구에
吹笛散飛檣上鷗 [취적산비장상구] 고동소리에 돗대위 갈매기 난다.
終夜不眠漁戶婦 [종야불면어호부] 밤새도록 잠못이룬 어부의 아낙네
旦明滄海望歸舟 [단명창해망귀주] 날밝아 돌아오는 바다를 바라본다.
이제 바다에는 어린 고기조차도 없다고 한다. 북한은 나라를 경영하고 국토를
수호할 능력이 없는지 바다(어장)조차 중국에 넘겨 중국 어선이 우리나라 동해,
서해를 독차지하고 고기씨를 말리고 있다. 참으로 딱한 현실이다.
